Dr. Hurvitz- Dr. Kimberly Hurvitz Advanced Dermatology and AestheticsDr. Kimberly Hurvitz | M.D.

Dr.  Kimberly Hurvitz has been a board certified dermatologist since 2002 and currently practices her passion for quality skin care in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. With an emphasis on skin cancer detection and treatment, Dr. Hurvitz delivers compassionate care to all ages and all types of skin problems. A keen eye for detecting skin cancers has made her the dermatologist of choice for skin cancer screening.

With a great eye and a gentle touch, Dr. Hurvitz approaches her cosmetic procedures with the utmost care and sensitivity. She encourages the use of Botox, fillers, lasers, and products to create a natural, but enhanced and beautiful appearance. Combining an inviting and compassionate approach, her goal is to make patients feel relaxed and at ease as she treats their medical or cosmetic concerns.

Graduating Summa Cum Laude from both her undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego and her medical training at Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Hurvitz has always striven for excellence.  She completed her dermatology training at University of Southern California, and in her last year served as chief resident of her program.

In 2002, Dr. Hurvitz moved back to her hometown of Santa Barbara where she now lives with her three beautiful children and husband, Dr. Graham Hurvitz, an orthopedic surgeon.  She has a very active family life and is dedicated to her children and the community.  As a long time volunteer for the American Academy of Dermatology and Skin Cancer Foundation, Dr. Hurvitz performs skin cancer screening for under-served people.  She looks forward to protecting and improving the quality of her patients’ lives by screening for skin cancers and encouraging early detection and treatment.  Through education, she hopes to inform her patients and the public about the potentially harmful effects of UV radiation.
